My husband and I wanted an off site from our hotel massage because they tend to be a little more inexpensive and we did a Google search and found Matrix Spa. It was one of the best decisions we made on our vacation. We were in Cancun for 9 days and ended up getting two massages from Matrix while we were there. The building almost looks like a home but you’re in the right spot. The woman working at the desk was so kind and welcoming. The staff did everything to make my husband and I feel comfortable and accommodate us. I am not lying when I tell you it was the BEST massage I have ever received. Normally I am kind of antsy and can’t sit still and I have gotten a lot of massages in my life. This was the first one that I was able to totally relax and was snoring according to my husband. I felt like I had melted into the table. I forget the name of the woman who gave me the massage but I would guarantee the whole staff is as talented as she was. They even went a little over time which was okay by me. After the flights, different bed and kind of flat pillows at the hotel the next day my body felt brand new. We will definitely be back to Matrix for a massage when we are back in Cancun. You won’t regret it! And again in the hotel zone you will be spending a lot more money for a potentially half decent massage. Don’t let downtown Cancún deter you from going here, we felt totally safe and even had lunch downtown where all the locals go. It was one of our best days that we had on vacation!
